During one month participants of the Challenger 9 edition researched the problem of traffic jams in Chisinau.
Almost 40 participants divided in 10 teams developed strategies that would come to solve the issue, which according to the survey conducted in March bothers young people the most.
In June, during two days young people participated in the "Policy Debate Competition" where they had the opportunity to present their strategies and played the role of government and opposition.
As a result of the competition young people developed 10 strategies to solve the problem of traffic jams in Chisinau. With these solutions, the young people will approach:
- the residents from all five sectors of Chisinau,
- the authorities,
- the candidates for the position of mayor of the capital.
The goal of young participants is to put the problem of traffic jams on the agenda of the authorities / candidates and agree upon a plan to solve / improve the problem.
